Thanksgiving Pickup FAQs

Hey Folks!

Thanksgiving is next week (egads!) and, in order to keep things running as smoothly as possible, we’re going to change our traditional pickup routine. In short, we will have two lines: one for any items you may want to purchase in-store (salt, chicharrons, turkey bouillon cubes), and another for pre-order pickups.

If you know in advance that you’ll want to shop from our meat case or from our selection of pantry items, please travel with a buddy. Sending one person to do your in-store shopping and the other to retrieve your pre-order will be the most time efficient for everyone.

If you placed an email order and did not pay the deposit, your order will be in the shop.

  • When should I grab my order?

Please come at the time you selected on your order form! If you’re not sure, check your emailed receipt. If you need to change your time, email us at or text us with your order number to let us know your amended plans (347-763-9500).

  • How do I get my order?

Instead of picking up your orders inside the store, all pre-order items will be ready for pickup on the sidewalk outside the shop. There will be a table, a handsome co-founder, and anything you might have selected on the order form (that means that your bird, bacon, sausage, fats and stock) ready to be bagged for you in front of the store.

  • What do I need in order to claim my order?

Just give us the last name of the person who placed the order, and you’ll be good to go. You’re welcome to pull up your confirmation email, but your order number isn’t necessary.

  • How do I pay?

The aforementioned handsome co-founder will be taking credit card and smart phone payments outside - no cash. We’ll tally up everything you ordered, deduct the $25 deposit, and send you on your way.

  • What if I want something I forgot to order?

Because our inventory for some items will be very limited, we cannot add anything to your order outside. However, all items within the store are first-come, first-served; if you find yourself wishing you had a little extra of something, you’ll need to head to the shop for a separate transaction.

  • How do I go about cooking what I ordered?
